Calling all theatre artists and creatives! 

As part of our Artist Mentorship Program (AMP), we are now accepting applications for the Alchemy Intensive, a week-long, in-person interdisciplinary theatre program for mid-career to experienced artists seeking to expand their creative practice beyond traditional forms.

Limited to five participants, the intensive blends theory and hands-on exploration across lighting, sound, stagecraft and direction, set design, object exploration, dance, and movement. Rooted in play and experimentation, the program encourages participants to break from Eurocentric and linear approaches to creation — embracing technology as an integral artistic tool and exploring nontraditional ways of telling stories. Guided by leading theatre artists from across Canada, Alchemy invites artists to reimagine what theatre can be.

The program will take place between March 16-20, 2026 in person in Montreal, Quebec. Submissions will be accepted until February 8, 2026.
